Demographic change and the associated performance and health of employees pose new challenges for companies. The number of those over 55 in employment has almost doubled in the last 20 years, while the number of unemployed older people is increasing at an above-average rate.

Together with all stakeholders, our multi-professional team from business, medicine and politics develops viable and sustainable solutions to issues relating to future competitiveness, generation and future-oriented jobs and the pooling of resources.

AB-Coaching

An offer to maintain the employability of employees and to ensure the efficiency of companies. Due to falling birth rates, the proportion of older people in the total population is increasing. This means longer employment and a larger number of older employees. Targeted measures to cope with working life now and in the future are therefore becoming increasingly important.

With the instrument "work management coaching" the following essential topics are addressed:

Work management coaching is a free advisory service for small and medium-sized businesses that is offered in Upper Austria by the working group Mentor, BBRZ and ÖSB Consulting is carried out.

Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung

With the program Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung (BGF) we implement measures with companies to improve health and well-being in the workplace. These are always tailored to the company and the respective situation.

Our offer

BGF-projects are implemented directly in the company on site. The implementation locations are Upper Austria, Vienna and Salzburg.

In Upper Austria, more than 50 companies have already received the seal of approval for company health promotion, in Salzburg already 20.

Bildungsnetzwerk Oberösterreich

Giving people tools and health skills to maintain their own health is the most sustainable way to keep people healthy. This is exactly our task in the “Bildungsnetzwerk” seminar program.

Our offer

On behalf of the Fonds Gesundes Österreich, we are responsible for the organization and implementation of the “Bildungsnetzwerk” seminar program in Upper Austria. The offer serves to convey health promotion: practice-relevant tools, methods and content as well as good practice examples.

The focus is on psychosocial health and equal opportunities, community and school settings and the general strengthening of health skills. The seminars are open to anyone interested and are held by experts.

Demografieberatung für Beschäftigte + Betriebe

Demografieberatung is a free advice program for companies. We support companies in coping with demographic challenges and the design of life-phase-oriented working environments.

Our offer

The demographic change in Austria is essentially characterized by two developments: an increase in the population and a shift in the age structure in favor of older age segments. Demography advice supports Austrian companies in coping with these challenges.

Consulting topics:

  • Establishing a structured, cross-generational knowledge transfer
  • Accompanying an orderly succession planning
  • Design of life-phase-oriented working environments

Advice is given individually and tailored to each company. With a team of more than 100 consultants, we offer everything from a single source: location determination and industry comparison, in-depth analyzes, development of measures and support in their implementation. In addition, regional events serve as a networking forum.

More than 1.500 companies have already used the demographic advice service for employees + companies since May 2017.

target group

Demografieberatung is aimed at all Austrian companies (with the exception of Burgenland), regardless of the industry and size.

This measure is financed by the European Social Fund and the Federal Ministry for Labor, Family and Youth.

fit2work Business Consulting

Do you want to benefit from healthy employees?

The fit2work business consulting supports companies free of charge in preventing long sick leave, early retirement and dismissals for their employees.

We advise companies on how to use their staff according to their abilities, to improve the workability of employees and to prevent health-damaging risks.

Our offer

  • Support in the (re) integration of employees with health problems
  • Prevention of early departure of employees through early retirement or dismissals
  • Prevention of long sick leave by z. B. Mental Illness

target group

fit2work is a free service offering all companies uncomplicated and unbureaucratic access to advice and support.

Evaluation of Work-Related Psychological Stress

For many years, companies have been obliged to evaluate work-related psychological stress. We support the evaluation with a team of work and organizational psychologists, management consultants and health experts.

Our offer

The health and performance skills of employees are central to the competitiveness of companies, because incapacity for work due to mental illness increasingly affects productivity. Therefore, the legislature introduced the obligation to evaluate work-related psychological stress.

With our team and a pool of experts, we support you in the evaluation. We determine whether there is a risk of work-related psychological stress and develop measures to reduce this. The following four dimensions are always considered in the evaluation:

  • Stress from work tasks and activities
  • Burdens from the social and organizational climate
  • Stresses from the work environment
  • Burdens from work processes and work organization

The offer is modular and based on specific needs and legal regulations.

The target group for the evaluation of work-related psychological stress are all Austrian companies.
